“Pacáiste den scoth atá i gceist leis an mbosca Cluichí Gaeilge. Táimse á n-úsáid le Rang 2 agus baineann siad an-sult as na cluichí. Clúdaítear réimse leathan topaicí sa phacáiste agus tá an-éagsúlacht le feiceáil ins na cluichí uile.
Cuireann na cluichí iachall ar na páistí foclóir a úsáid agus i ngan fhios dóibh fhéin tá siad ag foghlaim agus iad ag spraoi. Tá na cluichí ar fad oiriúnach do ranganna ó Rang 1 suas ar fad go Rang 6.”

“Cluichí Gaeilge” consist of ten games that are based on the ten themes of the National Curriculum for Gaeilge. The resources included are of a high quality and are very eye-catching and attractive. The games come with an instruction booklet for each game which explains clearly the aim of each game.

Games include Who am I?, Full house, Snap, Biongó, Splot, Charades and Fish. These games can be used in many ways throughout a lesson and may be teacher-led or accessed independently by children in small groups. They are also highly suitable as wet day games in higher classes and will definitely encourage spontaneous communication “as gaeilge”. Cluichí Gaeilge are a wonderful, practical addition to any classroom and can be exploited by the creative teacher to great advantage in any class from Junior infants right up to sixth class.

“The games are fantastic-kids love using them and they are a great resource at this time of year to reinforce work completed throughout the year. I look forward to your next games – children ask to take them out on rainy days to play the games at break time! Well done to you- it makes Irish grammar fun for the first time! ”

“I used the Chatty Cat Ball as a transition today and the children absolutely loved it, as did I. It’s brilliant to find an Irish resource that they are enthusiastic about. ”
